Inclusion

Bentley School fosters a climate of inclusion which embraces all forms of diversity, enabling our children to thrive in a global environment.

The Bentley community comprises students and faculty from 71 zip codes with nearly 50% of families self-identifying as non-white. Twenty-eight percent of our families benefit from financial aid.

Bentley aims to:
  1. Support efforts to recruit and retain students, faculty, and administration from diverse backgrounds;
  2. Nurture awareness of issues of social justice and equity through education and to provide an education environment in which a wide range of issues related to gender, race, culture, religion, physical capability, politics, socioeconomics and other forms of diversity are respected, embraced and explored;
  3. Embrace cultural competence and respect for the individual in and beyond the classroom; and
  4. Sponsor activities and events that reflect an inclusive culture.
