Student paparazzi lined the red carpet last Saturday when the Gala was hosted on Bentley's Upper School Campus. Parents, alumni, friends, faculty and staff were elegant in attire, some in Once Upon a Time-inspired ensembles. Robin Hood, Maleficent and Glenda the Good Witch, among others, graced the enchanted forest (the transformed Athletic Center) for a truly enchanted evening.
The Bentley community's generosity was also legend this year, with Gala Chair Annie Hahn (mother of Michael '20), sharing her gratitude for the tremendous community effort to make the event a success. And for the first time, the Gala enjoyed having an alumni table at the event. The Gala’s success was the result of months of dedication and preparation from every corner of the Bentley community. Parents and teachers donated fun and extraordinary items and experiences for the auctions while others volunteered the evening of the event, helped with the extensive, magnificent decorations, and organized class baskets.
Head of School Arlene Hogan shared, “Our amazing parent community outdid themselves this year by bidding with their hearts, raising more than $180,000 to support our faculty and staff professional development and student financial assistance. Annie Hahn, our Chair, provided an atmosphere of whimsy and elegance for this annual tradition."
